This artwork is the second work of the series “Favole della buonanotte raccontate a mio padre (Bedtime stories told to my father)”.
My father was abandoned in orphanage when he was an infant and, later, he was adopted by a good family. Therefore, he has never dealt with his heartbreaking, and cumbersome past which he never overcame, and that has influenced his whole life.
The abandonment he suffered turned into an inflicted abandonment. 
This series of artwork wants to tell the true story of my father’s biological parents, but I totally made it up.
In particular, this artwork should be considered a sort of compendium of my father’s family tree. It takes inspiration from the few snippets of information about his true family which I was able to retrieve throughout the years.
