Seeing your mothers’ tears is a failure, it is a life moment that you will never forget: when tears stream down a mother’s face, something is going to inevitably change. 
My artwork “This is why you see your mother cry” is composed of three drawings that represent the only three times when I saw my mother cry: in a moment of extreme financial difficulties; in a moment of discouragement and loneliness and in a moment of failure as a mother.
Along with them, there are some sculptures in the shape of a drop that symbolize tears: from the bidimensional shape of a drawing they turn into a tridimensional form, thus they take possession of the physical space and they lay down on the floor.
